Supernatural Spoiler from Kristin
Kristin over at E! Online just offered another spoiler nugget for Supernatural fans. It’s under the cut, as all spoilers are.
Randall in New York: Last week’s Supernatural was unbelievable! So hilarious and so well done. Got any scoop on what’s next?
According to my mole: There is an episode coming next year in which Anna returns and wants to kill Sam, so he doesn’t say yes to Lucifer. She travels back in time to kill Mary and John Winchester, so Dean and Sam go back in time to try and stop her. So does that mean we’ll see Jeffrey Dean Morgan again? Sadly, no, as it will be “young John” and “young Mary.” For the record, CW, I like my John W. old and scruffy and JDM-y!

That’s sounds interesting.
Let’s hope it will be the same characters that played the younger version of their parents before.

I like my Johnny Boy older too. Hmmmmmm JDM.love me some of that.
Comment by jo jo — November 10, 2009 @ 11:20 am
Interesting concept. Maybe this will be the 100th episode. All this says is that she travels back in time to kill John and Mary so she would kill Sam too, but what about Dean. This would also kill him. I’m confused. Can’t wait thought, ’cause it does sound interesting.
Comment by JanieBee64 — November 10, 2009 @ 11:40 am
This is awesome, now Sam will get to see his mom, like Dean did and hopefully spend some time with her. I think this will help Sam a lot with what he’s been going through!
Comment by psychokittyuk — November 10, 2009 @ 11:47 am
I wonder if she would kill them after Dean had been born. If not, that little lovefest of hers with Dean should SO be renigged!
Comment by Karen — November 10, 2009 @ 11:57 am
It’s great that this time Sam’ll see his mom also.
Comment by Lys — November 10, 2009 @ 12:02 pm
wow annas finnaly back?! i wonder if we’ll ever see yellow eyes again. ah anna
Comment by Lelouch — November 10, 2009 @ 12:24 pm
I saw this coming, but I always thought that Castiel would want to kill Sam for not trusting him. I never considered Anna in this context. My guess is that she will try and kill John and Mary before SAM is conceived, that is, after Dean’s birth.
Comment by Andrea — November 10, 2009 @ 12:24 pm
Gentle, soft, and kind Anna wants to kill Sam. Can this show possibly get more messed up?
I mean seriously, this girl has always been on Castiels back for even thinking about things like this. Dean made sweet sweet love with her.
No doubt another move to please silly fangirls.
Comment by Kevin Lee — November 10, 2009 @ 1:21 pm
Damn there go my hopes that Anna would be one of the characters to die in “Abandon All Hope.”
Comment by Jared — November 10, 2009 @ 1:54 pm
Lucifer’s so gonna travel back and kill her first.
Comment by ozsix(sic)six — November 10, 2009 @ 2:12 pm
Sounds very, VERY interesting! Is funny though, I would thought Castiel would of be the first to do this, not Anna. Supernatural always has a TWIST! Love this show for that!!!!
Peacu out! GR19.
Comment by Gr19 — November 10, 2009 @ 2:47 pm
this will be episode 13 of season 5 guys not the 100th episode 100 is episode 18 of the season
Comment by Smallville944 — November 10, 2009 @ 3:05 pm
Interesting notion, Kevin Lee. But here’s a thought: When Castiel got dragged back to Heaven for “bible camp” as Dean put it, a few days changed him considerably. So imagine the months Anna was probably stuck in “bible camp” in between When the Levee Breaks and before this episode. It doesn’t surprise me that her sweet countenance is at least a little altered.
But that’s just my theory. We’ll see when the episode airs. And I’m just happy this looks at least somewhat like an episode with a serious, overarching myth storyline. Goodbye fillers!
Comment by HausofGlass — November 10, 2009 @ 3:14 pm
If that rumor is true not only has Anna slipped a brain cell or 500. I think that episode sounds kinda dumb.
Comment by Saints — November 10, 2009 @ 3:27 pm
This is completley a biased opionion but I finally feel justified in my dislike of Anna!
Comment by 67Vette — November 10, 2009 @ 4:18 pm
The likelihood is after all that time in bible camp Anna wouldn’t care whether or not she would be killing Dean as well. Though it would be a kick seeing toddler Dean and I can just imagine Sam’s comments on the little guy.
PS: Kevin Lee if you are so dissatisfied with Supernatural stop watching or at the very least save your endless criticisms for someone who cares. All you do here is irritate.
Comment by Haley — November 10, 2009 @ 5:05 pm
Sounds like its going to be an awesome & interesting episode:D. I hope Azazel comes back. But that is pretty crazy how ANNA wants to kill Sam…
Well if she suceeds then not only will Sam not be born but the Apocolypse wont happen, unless the other special kides make it & replace him like Jake or Andy.
Comment by 619Elmeco — November 10, 2009 @ 6:05 pm
& by the ways, why SAM???
this isnt Sam’s fault, its Azazel’s.
I mean think about it… No Deals, No Special Kids, No Demon Blood, No Devil’s Gate, No Dead Mary & John, No Lilith, No breaking 66 Seals, No Dean in Hell, No Sam’s death, NO APOCOLYPSE!!!; What Im trying to say is why kill someone innocent like Sam if you can kill someone pure evil like Azazel who started it all. I hope Anna comes to her senses.

I’m really sorry SN’s taking Anna in this direction. Though I didn’t like her in “Heaven and Hell,” I thought she was great in “Head of a Pin.” Maybe her trip back in time will bring her over to the side of the Winchesters, and she’ll become their ally. I hope so. Convincing female characters played by talented actresses are such a rarity on SN.

Haley,
Well said.
Comment by deemonies2u — November 10, 2009 @ 11:23 pm
Taz, even after our little spat on the last round of comments, I have to agree with you on this one. This is a sad direction for Anna to take. I like her character, and I think it’s unfortunate that after her “boot camp” session, as it’s been put, she has been hardened like Castiel was. I’m right there with you hoping that during her trip back in time, she will ally with the Winchesters again, as Castiel eventually did. I always thought she, Cas, Bobby and the boys would be the core of their little army, and I hope that still comes to be (no killing Bobby, Eric!!). However, that said, I trust the writers and expect they’ll have something up their sleeves in favor of the good guys. They haven’t disappointed me yet (well, ok, there was “Bugs”) and I don’t expect they will. (I repeat, no killing Bobby!) About there being a rarity of talented actresses, I think it’s more a case of there being so few full-time actresses. They are mostly either killed off, morphed into different bodies, or there only for one episode, but I think the actresses who played the roles did a great job across the board. What I wouldn’t give to shoot even a bit part in an episode with Jared and Jensen! Waaaaait…that’s dangerous territory!
This should be a very interesting and tense episode. Bring it!
Comment by Fara — November 10, 2009 @ 11:28 pm
interesting episode. like te idea. hope we see the “real” young john and mary winchester back. I think that the reason why anna would kill john and mary, not only is because of everything that was happening in the past, but the way it has marks Sam, and his discisions. I think it didnot say that sam wouldnt say yes to Lucifer. In fact i think that this episode could also mean he does say yes. and the way of preventing that is going back to the real basics, his birth.
Comment by Yvonne — November 10, 2009 @ 11:56 pm
Please let Anna die in that episode. That’s the one character i can’t stand right after Jo.
Comment by redzuan — November 11, 2009 @ 12:00 am
errr. i thought in the episode they sent dean back to see his mum, dad, granddad and grandmum, castiel mentioned that no matter what anyone does in the past, the future can not change? it all leads back to the same conclusion in the present?
Comment by matthew — November 11, 2009 @ 6:48 am
Oh no!! how can sweet anna turn against Sam and wants to kill him ..I can’t wait to see this episode,( grrr!!!can’t believe we have to wait for next year to see it) !!!
So we will get to see young John & Mary again..at lwast this time Sam is travelling back in time with Dean and will be able to see his ‘young Mum’..
Comment by raiko — November 11, 2009 @ 6:49 am
What I really don’t understand is how the hell killing John and Mary can prevent the Apocalypse and Lucifer’s victory. There won’t be Sam, but there still will be Azazel with his plan and his other “special kids”! Maybe Sam was perfect for this role, but if there is no Sam it can be someone else, and no other person would fight and hold on for so long as the Winchesters for sure! So there would be Azazel and his demons and no Winchesters to stop them. I’m confused beyond words. Is there a chance this information is wrong?..

i have a question when dean went back in time at the end of the episode his mom knew who he was so does that mean that she will know remember him again because if she does it will be easier for them to help save little sammy
Comment by kyle — November 11, 2009 @ 7:40 am
I’m kinda hoping they pick someone else to play the young John, the guy they had last time was too scrawny to be a young version if JDM.
Comment by Jennie — November 11, 2009 @ 7:53 am
I agree with redzuan. I find the Anna character useless and I can’t stand school girl Jo. She didn’t work out as Dean’s love interest and I see no point in her being around now. There have been some excellent female guest stars, but those two weren’t among them. I also agree with a lot of Kevin Lee’s comments. Where is the hunt for the colt? Where are the demons and angels gunning for Dean? Where is the tension in the supposed rebuilding of the brothers’ relationship? Where is the apocalypse? It’s not that I have not enjoyed each indivudal episode. This is the only show I watch on TV…it’s that good. It’s just that Season 5 as a whole is missing substance concerning the myth arc and the boys relationship and I can’t figure out why.
Comment by Sheri — November 11, 2009 @ 8:07 am
Kevin Lee,
Most of comments I agree with. I too am completely confused with where Supernatural is going this season.
However, I have one little problem with your comment. Anna killed Uriel, she’s not sweet and innocent. She never has been. She’s the one who tried to bring Cas over to the side of doubt. She’s strong.
I’m worried about this episode, bringing back the “back to the future” theme. Nevertheless, if they bring back Mitch I will be glad.
Just a question Kevin Lee, what was your favorite SN episode?
Comment by Emilie Austen — November 11, 2009 @ 4:01 pm
I’m assuming this is after Mary and John are married in a pre-before Dean and Sam are born.It sounds interesting but i’d love to see the old John Winchester on the show again. The last time JDM was on it was a downer, all he did was open a can on Y.E.D and then smile to Sam and Dean.
Comment by Daniel — November 11, 2009 @ 7:24 pm
Whats hard to understand. Either Anna attempts to Kill John & Mary before eitehr kid is born, that stops it.
Or if she is just targeting Sam, then kill them after Dean is born. No Sam means to Dean selling his soul to a CRD and breaking in hell, thus no breaking of the seals.
Comment by MarkWood — November 11, 2009 @ 8:42 pm
I think the general problem with anna was that the actress was underwhelming and the way she was written was bleh! Not so much that she was bad , as she was not memorable. Maybe in the hands of a a more talneted actress, things would not have been like this. it’s a shame but when dealing with a charater that most fans like, you have to be very careful of who you pair with them.
Maybe this is also the argument for you cannot build a nuanced character in two episodes. Unlike Jo and Ellen who’ve been around forever who they should have expounded on.
If they have found a better actress to play her, it would be better. Let’s see another interpretation, then I’ll judge.
Comment by Kate — November 11, 2009 @ 10:55 pm
Emile-
Anna had to kill Uriel really, he was about to kill Castiel after all. I think Castiel would have killed him too if he had the possibility to do so. Also, Anna was warning Castiel about the other angels mainly, and that he should walk his own path. She decided for herself that the orders weren’t coming from God and so she would disobey them. Absolutely everything she’s done she has done in the pursuit of good, that is apart from her fall from heaven.
My favourite SN episode, boy that is HARD.
It’s probably between: All Hell Breaks Loose part 2, When the Leeve Breaks, and Lucifer Rising.
Here’s a list of some of my favourite episode, excluding season 1. I need to watch that season again.
In My Time of Dying
Bloodlust
Crossroad Blues
Born Under a Bad Sign
All Hell Breaks Loose part 1
All Hell Breaks Loose part 2
The Magnificent 7
Fresh Blood
A Very Supernatural Christmas
Dream a Little Dream of Me
Mystery Spot
No Rest for The Wicked
Lazarus Rising
In The Beginning
Metamorphosis
I Know What You Did Last summer
Heaven and hell
Sex and Violence
On The Head of a Pin
The Monster at The End of This Book
When The Leeve Breaks
Lucifer Rising
Free to Be You and Me
Only one from season 5 so far. Says it all really.

I read in an Eric Kripke Interview that Michael will finally make his appearance in an episode where Sam and Dean go back and see their mom and dad as newlyweds. Michael’s “the one who kicked Lucifer’s ass the first time and is now gearing up for the rematch,” Kripke says. And the boys will visit heaven for the first time.
