didn’t care about this episode before-still don’t care about it after seeing this. cas comes to the rescue yet again. yea!!! thats soooooo differant than what we have seen in the past. (sarcasm). and kevin still has an obnoxious attitude. and obviously dean hasn’t gone to get sam yet. ususally these clips are the first scene of an episode.

wouldn’t it have been better if dean had to go find them somehow??? like a treasure hunt or something???? and he needs sam to figure out something. i mean it could still happen but not from what this scene is showing us. where is the imaginitive writing???? it is sooooo predictable.

About time for a clip!!!
I don’t care if Dean “goes to get Sam”. However I do agree that using Cas this way makes things way too easy. And Kevin still irks me the wrong way.
BUT….its a clip and the show is only 7 days away. No matter how unsatisfying the season has been so far I still love my Boys and will be Happy to see them again.

I guess Sam must be with Amelia again…Samelia ..such a boring story. But on a better night SPN /Js won another 2nd PCA’s thanks to their fans again.

Supernatural is also a sci-fi tv series on a crappy Network that gets hardly promoted by the network but has a strong fan base which propels the show into winning deserved and earned awards.
Comment by ozzie — January 9, 2013 @ 7:09 pm
What a shocker the actor who’s fan base was not divided won the favorite dramatic actor award.
Comment by stone 120 — January 9, 2013 @ 7:21 pm
@ stone 120: Yeah, big shocker, and the show was excluded from Best TV Drama by the way the nomination process was set up. But, two awards and they got INVITED this year, which was a step up. The Js looked good, and I was proud of them and the fans for getting them this much and this far along. They deserve the recognition and to be recognized by their peers (and they seemed very happy).
Now, as to Torn and Frayed and this clip. Mrs. Tran gave Sam a notebook with the recipe and he built one bomb in A Little Slice of Kevin, so why do Cas and Dean need to go to Kevin to get the recipe????
Comment by Sheri — January 9, 2013 @ 7:53 pm
Iam guessing Sam still angry at Dean ..for pulling the fake 911 Amelia message must still be pissed and is on his way to boring Samelia’s Ultimatium?
Comment by ozzie — January 9, 2013 @ 8:14 pm
Sam’s entire story is BORING so not interested at all where he is right now.
Yep, another valid point by Sheri- why do Dean and Cas need to go to Kevin? Please- someone- take him away and don’t bring him out again until the season is about to end.
Comment by SL — January 9, 2013 @ 9:40 pm
I love Cas . I love Dean. I wish Kevin still had long hair. I miss Sam. I want my SPN!
Comment by t1gerlilly — January 10, 2013 @ 4:44 am
I love The Supernatural family…but people are overreacting again.
This is a clip from a 45 minute show.
Remember the Promo? Castiel says “I NEED BOTH OF YOU TO SHOW YOUR CRAP AND LISTEN TO ME”.
THAT MEANS THAT DEAN AND SAM ARE STILL ANGRY WITH ONE ANOTHER.
CASTIEL TURNS TO DEAN AND SAM FOR HELP.
HE NEEDS BOTH OF THEM TO SAVE SAMANDRIEL FROM CROWLEY.
BUT AMELIA CALLS SAM.
Comment by Bella — January 10, 2013 @ 6:30 am
I think mama tran made the bomd after she locked the demon in her trunk. then she gave the bomb to Sam.

Iam skipping this eppie and 8_11 but gonna see 8-12 the one about Henry Winchester. A fan asked me at Twitter if when I skip an SPN episode if I dont feel like Iam mising much and I said so far no. I skipped Bitten then I read many angry bloggs about how Sam &Dean were M.I.A..
Comment by ozzie — January 10, 2013 @ 8:13 am
Yeah, well, if you go look at polls of what was the best eppie of the season, Bitten was rock bottom. I wouldn’t bet on that being the case this time.
Comment by t1gerlilly — January 10, 2013 @ 9:30 am
Sam and Dean were not M.I.A in bitten. It was a good episode shown from the POV of the victims. It was interesting to see what bystanders might be thinking when Sam and Dean roll up on a crime scene. I liked it.

I bet that this episode “Torn and Frayed” was originally intended to be the mid-season finale. The last episode with Benny just seemed so anti-climactic.
Anyway, I love Kevin!! He’s a great addition to the show.
Comment by JJA — January 10, 2013 @ 4:10 pm
I considered them MIA in bitten because they were on screen for about 5 minutes! Never will watch Bitten again.
I am looking forward to this episode. I can’t make an opinion about it because I havent’t seen it yet.

It seems like cas is falling apart mentally. Naomi must be really screwing up his melon. looks like a pretty intense episode. Should be good.
Comment by AW — January 11, 2013 @ 4:46 am
AW did you see another clip or are you referring to the preview? Cas seemed to be in pain in the preview but he didn’t appear to be falling apart. He seemed fine in this clip. I’m glad we’re only five days away from this episode. This clip combined with the preview is confusing. We saw the Winchesters coming upon a hurt Cas, we saw Cas telling the two of them to stow their crap, and now we see Dean and Cas going to check on Kevin without Sam. What’s the proper sequence of events?
Comment by Stone120 — January 11, 2013 @ 9:21 am
I was refering to the preview when cas was holding his head and wincing he asked naomi what she did to him.have not seen the new clip yet due to some technical difficulties.
Comment by AW — January 11, 2013 @ 9:44 am
Darn it. I was hoping there was something new out there. The new clip doesn’t really show much so you’re not missing anything.
Comment by Stone120 — January 11, 2013 @ 9:48 am
this drought is awful we need new info we need this episode bad. One day of hellatus is like 40 normal days.
Comment by AW — January 11, 2013 @ 10:21 am
This is strange, Carver didn’t write any episode in the mid-season. Usually showrunners write 3-4 episodes but so far it seems he’s backing off. Sad thing, the first episode was arguably the best so far.
Comment by damn — January 11, 2013 @ 2:38 pm
Wow people how can you skip an episode? Even a bad one is still part of the story if you interested in this story at all. It’s like reading book skiping pages.Anyway, based on promo pictures Sam and Dean are together on whatever it is in this episode. And yey, it does look pretty intense and full of action to me. Not skipping it for sure, can’t wait.
Comment by AA — January 12, 2013 @ 12:40 pm
Some of you people can tell what is going to happen in a 1:37 seconds, boy you guys are amazing. Love my Supernatural from the very beginning, no bad episodes at all.
Comment by Miranda — January 12, 2013 @ 2:55 pm
Miranda, I never base whether or not I’m gonna watch an episode on a clip. Clips or previews are so often misleading. This little clip shows Dean, Cas, and Kevin, and where quite a few photos show Dean, Sam, and Cas. Who’s to say right now what is going to happen in the next episode? I’ll wait and watch before I make any comments on the actual ep. I also hate it when people comment on an ep when they haven’t even watched it yet (after the ep has actually aired), but yet people do. I haven’t really noticed that happening here in awhile but it use to quite a bit a while back, or perhaps I just missed those posts? Anyhow…I am rambling (too much football watching today). I am really looking forward to watching the next episode (I need my Dean and Sam fix!).
Comment by twinster — January 12, 2013 @ 8:41 pm
this episode looks awesome, so far I’m not disappointed by the writing of Jeny Klein who wrote previous episodes “Out with the Old” and “Caged Heat” but this is his first solo script so I’m curious to see what he will do with the many arcs, this episode looks important in the mythology of the season. I’ll certainly watchn it!4
Comment by damn — January 12, 2013 @ 10:28 pm
There is still alot of twists and reveals yet to be made. I am excited to see all sorts of answers to so many questions. I can’t wait. THis ep has some serious potential.
Comment by AW — January 14, 2013 @ 7:59 am
@AW, I seriously love your optimism.
Comment by Stone120 — January 14, 2013 @ 9:30 am
Here is my best case scenario. while Amelia is giving Sam the ultimatum Cas walks up to Samand walks right thru Amelia making her evaporate and Cas says stow your crap we have reality to deal with. Now if we all believe maybe it will come true.
