Poor human homeless Cas..!!!What did you do Cas to deserve this punishment??.getting tortured by this fallen angel girl or human girl?? Hands off our beloved angel/human Cas.. ‘I’m No Angel’ – Glad to have a Cas-centric episode.. will Sam and Dean find their old Angel buddy now ‘human’ who has an army of pissed fallen angels after him ?! will Sam/Zeke save Cas in the hands of his torturer? Love to see Sam/Zeke spread his angel wings again..!!
Ugh who cares. If Cas is human what’s the point of having him on this show anyway? Just to please his fans? Waste of an episode if you ask me. Are they really going to spend an episode talking about poor human Cas and how the brothers find him? Boring.
I’m not thrilled with a Cas-centric episode, either. I find that Cas can’t carry an episode on his own and only works well when tied to the Winchesters — Dean in particular. This whole episode will introduce Cas’ story for the season, so I don’t expect much.
I think it will be the Winchesters who find and save Cas. I don’t expect to see Zeke show up to ‘save the day.’ But, I am very, very interested to have TP back as Zeke and see where his story goes.
I watched the first two episodes of SPN- not going to watch this one. Mainly -not because I hate Cas oddly enough-but because the premise is utterly ridiculous. Cas has been on earth for how many hundreds of years??? And he doesn’t know about the human condition??? Sorry -doesn’t make sense to me at all.
@ animal: Misha has his fans through, what I believe was a lot of self-promotion. There’s no doubt that he has a large enough following that the show wants to hold that portion of viewers.
Besides, the J2s like him very much.
I just wished they had not made him a regular to where we are going to get a fair share of Cas-centric episodes every year; because I, personally, find them as boring as Crowley’s Hell. Misha’s performances just doesn’t capture my attention all that much. When he’s hooked up with Jensen, then I don’t mind him.
You’re right, Cas’ goofiness doesn’t make sense in terms of what we know. He’s been watching humans for 2,000 years, wasn’t it? Maybe just the 9 (or 11 — SPN years are funky) since he rescued Dean from Perdition. And none of the other angels seem to have a problem. I guess he’s just a challenged angel, and that’s why Dean has adopted him.
I don’t get it about Cas either. I find him boring, tbh, but at least watchable when he’s actually doing something useful or adding to the whole Winchester plotline. But I definitely find it ridiculous that he’s so challenged being a human, after all these years on earth, plus the times when he’s lost his powers before. Hasn’t he done that at least once, and wasn’t he living as a human when he lost his memory (Born again Identity?)?
Hard to keep track of all the different Cas-versions, almost as many as Sam! Fine, keep the fans happy, but at least weave him into the story in a believable, interesting way.
Otherwise, carry on with our wayward sons!!! Kickin’ demon ass, fighting monsters and finding ways to put the angels back where they belong!
@sheri-see I am the opposite-I don’t mind seeing Cas away from the Winchesters-I think he drags the character of Dean down when he is around. But I do agree his story should enhance the Winchester story -AND MAKE SENSE-not have a separate independent story. But whatever I can fast forward thru Cas’s part. This episode will have too much Cas to fast forward-so I just am not going to watch it. I wait to see what you say about it before I go online to watch bits and pieces of it. lol.
Sheri-I usually do that too-I watch live then go online and watch it again at my leisure. I go to a review video that is from a males point of view to get the guys reactions-thats fun.!! This particular episode though-I think I will watch first 5 minutes-the Dean and Sam/Zeke part and then go watch something else or do Home Room Parent letters ect…. Then after I read what you thought and what my “guys” thought -then I will go watch bits and pieces of the episode. Which probably won’t take too long. lol.
lol-yea I know-Anything with the kids is fun to me-reguardless how difficult the task might be. But I am curious about Zeke just “popping out” like he did. I want to know how Dean handles that. I am not invested in Cas or his story at all so no need to sit thru the episode in full. I know I put a lot of pressure on you to have to sit thru the episode and review it for me. lol . Sorry!! lol.
