Ghostfacers: Love ‘Em or Hate ‘Em?

ghostfacers_titlecard

For a couple of haphazard funny guys (and wannabe ghost hunters) The Ghostfacers sure are  divisive characters in the Supernatural community. So I want to know where you stand on The Ghostfacers, do you love the characters and think they add some comedic relief to Supernatural? Or, are you anti-Ghostfacer and think they take away from the central story of Sam and Dean?

As we know (thanks to the promo videos), The Ghostfacers are mentioned this Thursday, in a surprising way, so I figured now would be the perfect time to have The Ghostfacer debate. Please no insulting other commenters in your comments, but don’t hold back when it comes to Harry Spangler and Ed Zeddmore. The most convincing of these comments will be posted in a “Ghostfacers: Love ‘Em or Hate ‘Em?’ post I’m writing.

Since I know you all are the true Supernatural experts, I’m going to be asking your opinion on all sorts of things in the coming weeks and months. So guys, Ghostfacers: love ‘em or hate ‘em?

  1. Am totally not a fan of these guys - whenever they pop up i just think argh! not again! please stop putting them on the show eric!! they’re boring!

  2. Love ‘Em

  3. I love the ghostfacers! I think they are hilarious. I like that while they enjoy antagonizing Sam and Dean they aren’t inhernitly evil like everything else the boys are up against, but again I think my favorite thing about them is the hilarity they bring to the episodes they’re in and I can’t wait for their return.

  4. Love ‘em. They add something that is really needed . . especially during angsty times like now.

  5. I like the Ghostfacers. They serve a purpose - a little comic relief when it’s needed. Their first episode was hilarious and fitted right in with the humour of the brothers’ prank wars. Their second episode was also well done - one of the “experimental” shows that worked. It was funny but also quite moving, while allowing the Winchesters to display all the characteristics we love. If the remaining seasons progress towards the rallying of armies I can see them being useful allies and plot indicators of the seriousness of the situation, albeit in their unique often inept way. I mean, at least they’ve seen some of what’s out there.

  6. I have to confess that the last episode these guys were in did not impress me much, in fact, they came off really annoying. Their first time on the show was funnier and less annoying, and had better one liners! “What would Buffy Do!”

But I think as a given, if they stick with a story line instead of some kind of “reality” show theme, then they can’t go wrong.

    Comment by Jeremy — March 24, 2009 @ 9:21 am

  7. I like them! Notice I said “like”. They are good for what they bring to the show - comic relief. I don’t mind them popping up every now and again to annoy Sam and Dean. Now do I want to see a multi-episode arc with them? Not so much.

    Comment by newpuppethole — March 24, 2009 @ 9:27 am

  8. I love the Ghostfacers!! Although it wasn’t until after watching the episode two/three times. They were brought in at the wrong time and that is the reason the fans reacted the way they did.
They bring in a different element into the show, just normal people hunting ghosts and they are funny. The reaction of Sam and Dean when meeting them is great to see too!!
I’m looking forward to seeing them in the episode and hopefully it’s more than just the one scene.

    Comment by Darren — March 24, 2009 @ 9:27 am

  9. I’m with puppethole on this one. I like them. They are great for annoying Sam and Dean, but certainly don’t want to see a Ghostfacers show, or a bunch of episodes of SN with them in it.

    Comment by Jocelyn — March 24, 2009 @ 9:38 am

  10. I think that the Ghostfacers are really good in the show just because they are so stupid in the kool kind of way. They make me laugh every time. “Chisel Chest” was my favorite. I agree with Jocelyn, though, because they’re great guest stars, but I don’t think I’d like too many episodes with them appearing.

    Comment by Apples'N'Jensen — March 24, 2009 @ 9:47 am

  11. I liked Ed and Harry in Hell House because it was just those two and they didn’t overshadow the actual show *SUPERNATURAL* they added a good light relief whilst keeping the supernatural theme going. I didn’t like the Ghostfacer episode at all, I think mainly because there were too many characters trying to vie for camera time. If it had just been Ed and Harry and, okay, maybe one more person but the whole group was too much for me within the Supernatural timeslot. I’m not against recurring characters but given a choice I would rather the show kept Pamela or Henrickson. So I think, overall I’m a Facerhater! But who knows….

    Comment by Lyn — March 24, 2009 @ 9:47 am

  12. I like the Ghostfacers for the most part. They’re funny, awesome comic relief, and good if they show up once or twice a season to irritate the boys. Do I want them as a staple on the show? No frickin’ way.

But they did provide a few of my favorite SN moments, like the circle of salt and “You gotta go be gay for that dead intern!”

    Comment by Rachel — March 24, 2009 @ 9:55 am

  13. I think the ‘Facers are a great addition to the show. Part of what I love about Supernatural is that it can bounce from comedy to horror to drama and sometimes mix all three together in a single episode. The fact that Ghostfacers can co-exist in the Supernatural universe with heavy things like heaven vs. hell, the brothers’ relationship and the deaths that have occured to major characters is a testament to the show’s versatility I think.

    Comment by Marc — March 24, 2009 @ 10:02 am

  14. I love the Ghostfacers! In the episode last season, “Ghostfacers” Supernatural fans were treated to a unique and different style of the show. Who would have ever thought that Supernatural would be turned into a reality show? It was full of comedy, but it didn’t lose sight of what makes Supernatural so great- the brothers, the drama(mostly Dean’s deal), and the killer music! I know I had the Ghostfacer’s theme song stuck in my head for a full two weeks after that episode aired. In my opinion, we need to see more of the Ghostfacers!

    Comment by Kayla — March 24, 2009 @ 10:04 am

  15. The Ghostfacers worked really well in both seasons one and two. They provided a great form of comic relief in season one when the story line was more free to focus on individual stories such as the Tulpa rather than stories that progressed through several. The Season 3 appearance worked as a great tribute to the TAPS team. Although it was slightly satirical, the episode did seem to jest in a admiring manner. The Season 4 appearance, this Thursday’s episode, seems to work well with the ironic reversal of the two ghost hunting groups in that Sam and Dean are oblivious to the Supernatural world and are the ones seeking guidance. I am not sure why Sam and Dean are in this situation but for this side story it works. In the big planas of the seals, Luicfer rising, angels, and Lilith, the Ghostfacers have little, if any place. The essential traits on whether or not the Ghostfacers should continue to appear is if you a Supernatural fan who is loving the new, epic story line, or if you are a Supernatural fan who misses the old back roads stories of Season 1. It appears that the story will get even more involved with Lucifer rising so the Ghostfacers should bite the dust soon. I like them but their time is running up. Maybe a spin-off would work, maybe. With some great writers and enough motivation I think it might be a good one season spinoff, but otherwise the Ghost Facers aren’t strong enough characters to have any significance in the apocalyptic battles to come.

  16. Hate them!!!

    Comment by Emily — March 24, 2009 @ 10:33 am

  17. I feel like I’m just repeating everyone else, but I like the Ghostfacers. They’re like little comic ninjas - hidden away until your emotions are tattered and you can’t take another crushing blow. Then they sneak in, drop some comedy on you, and run right back out again. If overused, the gag would become downright idiotic, but as sparingly as the writers use Harry and Ed, I think they’re downright refreshing.

    Comment by Rae — March 24, 2009 @ 10:35 am

  18. I think the Ghostfacers can be funny at times but overall they are BORING! They take away from the main story line and whenever they have an episode its always like a “what-if?” kinda thing, ya know?

I guess they just write them in so that Jensen and Jared can get a break from shooting so much.

    Comment by Rosie — March 24, 2009 @ 10:43 am

  19. Overall I like them. But only in context.
They are a great double act, and a great homage to the Ghostbusters et al. Hell House was a good episode, and the Hell Hounds fit in well inasmuchas they were very much their own characters without taking away from the central characters. Ghostfacers was an excellent episode, risky in it experimental nature, but it worked well, and offered an outside point of view of Sam and Dean. It did jar a bit in the order of episodes but I think that can be wholly blamed on the shortened season because the ramp up to the finale was accelerated; in the natural order, the ramp up would have been more gradual and it would have fit in better.
I also think its good for Sam and Dean to have a couple of aquaintances that are not wrapped up in the heaviness of the mytharc and the angst.
On the other hand, too much of the Ghostfacers can be annoying; if I wanted annoying comedy, I’d be watching Paramount. Their humour is at such odds with the central story and moods that to make them more regular characters would destroy background and turn the show into a farce.
In conclusion I think, much like a good seasoning, they should be used sparingly to good effect.

  20. I love watching the Ghost Facers, they’re hilarious!

Do you think it’s cause’ they’re so awsome?
    I think it’s cause’ they’re so awsome. ;-)

    Comment by Krystal — March 24, 2009 @ 11:05 am

  21. The Ghostfacers are annoying - but in a funny way; they play off well against Sam/Dean because they are an exaggerated version of what the Winchesters could be - remember how Dean screamed and ran when infected by ‘fear’? That was pure Ghostfacers.
They - and other characters like them, also play a vital role in releasing some of the pressure - each season of SN has got “heavier” in terms of physical and emotional workload not to mention outside stresses like the sad death of a friend, like Kim Manners, or the breakup of a long term relationship like Jared and his partner Sandra. A good show/writer builds tension, but you have to either let it erupt or tamp it down because endless episodes piling on the agony after a while just become depressing, dreary, monotonous and off-putting - when you have your own life brickbats to deal with, sometimes sitting down in front of the TV for yet another hour of grim hopelessness is not what you can cope with; sometimes, you desperately need to smile.
The Ghostfacers also do us fans a favour by meaning Jared and Jensen can have a breather from being in every single scene - as a fan of the show I want everyone involved to do their best but I don’t expect them to work themselves to death for my entertainment. Having met Jensen Ackles once I was impressed by his complete professionalism in unfortunate circumstances - the room was unbearingly hot, he was exhausted and dehydrated, yet he never faltered in being courteous and friendly; I kept wishing someone would call a halt to the interviews and take him for a solid meal and let him drink a gallon of water - in Season 4 the show has combined a lot of physical stunts with tense emotional scenes, like Dean’s breakdown at the end of Heaven and Hell, and the confrontation in Sex and Violence between the brothers. It’s mentally draining and physically exhausting having to ‘weep on demand’ for three takes or do a fight scene half a dozen times. SO yes, the Ghostfacers are nerds, they’re annoying, and they can irritate - but the characters are very funny when the writing is done right, and I appreciate the brief periods of rest they provide the main cast to have. As long as they don’t just become the ‘easy option’ comic relief for lazy writing that can’t be bothered, I hope they continue to appear in the show.

  22. I wouldn’t say that I hate the GhostFacers because I think that’s a little strong. However, I don’t like them enough to become a staple on Supernatural. Occasionally, it’s nice to bring back characters just as long as they don’t take away from the what the show’s really about - the Winchesters.

GhostFacers had some funny moments as an episode, but it’s definitely not one of my favorites. It got too far away from the focus of Sam and Dean, which takes away the whole point of the episode in my book. I care more about what’s up with the brothers rather than a couple of characters that were brought back, especially for no real reason other than comic relief. Comedy is good when it’s done right, but it seems the writers have taken some liberties and trying too hard to make a drama show more lighthearted.

Stick to what makes the show great, Sam and Dean, and leave the GhostFacers where they belong - their parents’ basement.

    Comment by Danielle — March 24, 2009 @ 11:19 am

  23. I LOVE them. They bring fun and comic relief to the show. Of course I love Sam and Dean, but I do look forward to watching the Ghostfacers. I have always been a big fan of fun and funny eps like the ones they are in. Even for X-Files and BTVS. It’s also a nice break from the big eps as of late. Anyway, that’s my 2 cents, not that they are worth that.

    Comment by Wendy — March 24, 2009 @ 11:26 am

  24. I hate them. I think, the occasion that they appeared in “hell house” was enough. But, add them in more episode, what for? I can´t find a great idea to put them back. why?

  25. LOVE THEM! LOVE THEM! LOVE THEM! LOVE THEM!

    Comment by Dianna — March 24, 2009 @ 11:32 am

  26. The Ghostfacers are mildly amusing in small doses so I hope they are not in this next episode too much because because then they become annoying.

    Comment by Marlana — March 24, 2009 @ 11:41 am

  27. As some have said, I like them okay. They serve as a good backdrop to the boys. Hell House was funny and I loved Ghost Facers. I look at them as a back drop to the Winchesters, showing just how far from ‘normal’ our boys live. The Ghost Facers, in total ignorance, are playing at living and our boys, tough and hardened, are playing for keeps. Wouldn’t want to see too much of them, though.

    Comment by Sheri — March 24, 2009 @ 12:04 pm

  28. I love them. The affectionate poke at the ghost hunting community is wonderfully subtle and the two actors have a unique rapour on screen an off because I have seen them work their magic in person. Utterly hilarious and without them we would never get such great improvised lines as ‘Chisel Chest’ Long may they re-haunt…I mean hunt. I do sometimes wonder though if just once instead of having a fun episode after the really dramatic ones that we could have one dealing with the aftermath. We did in AHBL 1&2 but not very often. Sometimes, just sometimes I would like to see what happened next instead of ….Several weeks later!!!!

    Comment by Steffs — March 24, 2009 @ 12:22 pm

  29. I love the Ghostfacers. And i think they should totally stay in supernatural. Becusae they add funk and comedy and you kno its nice to see old charecters in new epiosdes every so and then!

    Comment by Sadieann — March 24, 2009 @ 12:40 pm

  30. Currently I love them. However I do think that if they showed up more than once or twice a season they would start to get annoying. However, “Ghostfacers” happens to be one of my favorite episodes just because of the skulls whenever the boys swear, the way it was filmed, and for the ever immortal line: “You have to go be gay for the poor dead intern!”

That and while showing it to one of my friends her facial reactions were quite comical…

So, yeah I like them, and am pumped that they’ll be making another appearence on the show.

    Comment by Alex — March 24, 2009 @ 12:47 pm

  31. Like them a lot. Once a season works a treat for me. I think their ineptitude and lack of self-awareness are great foils for the Winchester brothers’ expertise and existential angst. And Eric Kripke and co have done a very good job in making them something more than caricatures. ‘Ghostfacers’ has become a favorite episode for me largely because I ended up actually caring about the morons.

    Comment by corbyinoz — March 24, 2009 @ 12:49 pm

  32. I LOVE the Ghostfacers! I thought that last season’s episode was just hilarious — and very creative — trust Supernatural to bring us a camcordered, improv episode that was a perfect send up of Ghost Hunters which apparently they liked too!
What I hate are prompts like this that seem to set up “fights” in the fandom……

    Comment by lam — March 24, 2009 @ 1:02 pm

  33. I love the ‘Facers! Well mix, once in a while, with Dean and Sam. I also think they keep Dean and Sam grounded and honest - and true to their job: hunting. :)

    Comment by Patti — March 24, 2009 @ 1:03 pm

  34. i think Ghostfacers are cool and really funny! they only show up once in the whole season so there is no harm done. with all the intense stuff going on, i think it’s appropriate to have a laugh.the Ghostfacers episode in season 3 was hilarious.i wish they showed up more often than just one ep per season.

    Comment by mrejoana — March 24, 2009 @ 1:30 pm

  35. I love the Ghostfacers. They can get annoying at times, but they add a lot of comedic relief to the show and with a horror show, a few laughs are always a good thing.

  36. I love the ghostfacers they add a little something new too the show, they are funny and very entertaining, i can’t wait to see them again…..Go GhostFacers!!!!!!

    GhostFacers…….

  37. Ghostfacers for the win! I love them coming on the show and causing a little much needed laughs and giggles. I mean come on, anyone who can sing “stay in the kitchen when the kitchen is hot” with a straight face has to score points in the hilarity column! I don’t want to see their bright and shining faces in every eppie, but coming on once a year to keep our boys straight is just fine by me!

    Comment by Zara — March 24, 2009 @ 1:45 pm

  38. Hey don’t bite my head off but I hate these guys. I’ll never stop watching Supernatural because its my show but they take away the non stop rush from the previous episodes. It is good to have some funny episodes but not with these guys. For example the trickster is okay in my book and I wouldn’t mind seeing him again. That’s all I got to say.

    Comment by Michael DeFeo — March 24, 2009 @ 2:07 pm

  39. I like the Ghostfacers - in moderation. They provide some good comic relief, but I wouldn’t really be interested in a spin-off show about them or anything. Having them pop up in unexpected places once or twice a year is perfect.

  42. Hmm, only in small doses and not often. They are okay if they don’t take anything away from Sam and /or Dean. I don’t like it when i feel like i am watching an episode of ‘Ghostfacers’ because i probably wouldn’t - and to have them take over my favourite show does tend to annoy me.

In saying that, i don’t have anything against them. i think they can be funny and i enjoy their characters and what they do with them.

    Comment by Kara — March 24, 2009 @ 3:10 pm

  43. True, they are funny, but whenever they come on the show, it’s just - bah! They are dumb when it comes to ghosts and it sort of insults Sam and Dean’s way of hunting.

    Comment by Dean'sGirl — March 24, 2009 @ 3:14 pm

  44. LOVE the Ghostfacers! I’d hate to see them more frequently than once a season, as it would completely dilute their novelty. Still, the characters are very well conceived and written, and can really lighten things up nicely after weeks of angst and nail-biting.

    YMMV.

    Comment by Christina — March 24, 2009 @ 3:35 pm

  46. I’m a ‘Facer hater all the way. These guys are way too annoying. And if the original two weren’t enough, they had to bring a whole cast with them in the last episode they were in! I tune in every week for Sam and Dean, not some bumbling fools who simply annoy. If I wanted to see a whole show with totally different characters in it, I’d watch another show. Keep it Sam and Dean and leave out the ‘Facers!

    Comment by Stacey — March 24, 2009 @ 3:38 pm

  47. Neither love ‘em or hate ‘em, just tolerate ‘em with their there. I’m glad there not around anymore than they are. They are better in small doses. Probably wouldn’t watch them if they had their own show.

    Comment by Jane — March 24, 2009 @ 3:42 pm

  48. They’re good for a few chuckles, and sometimes the show needs the comic relief.

  51. I am not a fan of the ‘Facers. They were okay as guests in one episode. Their second appearance annoyed me because they were given way too much screen time. I am disappointed to see them returning - again! The show should be focusing on Sam and Dean, particularly after all the revelations in last week’s episode.

  53. I believe ( this is completly and utterly my opinion) that the Ghostfacers are both a good and bad addition to the show, to a certain extent of course. They are a good addition to the show by letting us veiwers just kick back, relax and laugh at all of the weird things that they do. Also it is because they are a complete oppisite of Sam and Deans’ characters and some may find it funny to be able to picture them in that sort of way ( If you understand what I mean). They are also a bad addition to the plot line because they are sometimes pulling away from the main plot line ( which is not always a bad thing) and also because they are as I dare say a somewhat annoying group of proteganists which most people would say is not a good reason but I beg to differ because they are always prying into Sam and Deans’ personal life and because of they way they pretend to be proffesional and even better than Sam and Dean Which we all know is a load of bull . Which if I am not mistaken is just a really long way of saying that they are annoying. So It is for these reasons that I believe that the Ghost facers are both a good and a bad addition to Supernatural.

  55. The Ghostfacers are so ridiculous that they’re a perfect addition to the show. I have to agree with Jane, I probably wouldn’t watch them if they had their own show but I love them on SN. Sam and Dean play well off of them, and they’re a much needed relief from all of the darkness shadowing this season.

You need a few laughs to keep from drowning in the angst I think…

They are freaking hilarious!! how could anyone hate them?

    Comment by Aryana — March 24, 2009 @ 6:56 pm

  59. I really enjoyed Harry and Ed in ‘Hell House’ - that episode was really just perfect. The characters were written very well, the one-liners were awesome, and the way Dean and Sam interacted with them was fantastic.

That being said - I really did not enjoy them in the ‘Ghostfacers’ episode. I didn’t really like the extra ‘team members’ that were added - in fact that whole episode just felt off to me (and it wasn’t because it was shot gorilla style, I didn’t mind that in the least).

I don’t know, to me it just seems like Kripke and co. went a little to far with these guys. I love Ed and Harry, I really do! If it’s just these two appearing for a cameo in an episode I’m all for it - they have great chemistry with the boys - but get rid of the extras!

    Comment by Ashley — March 24, 2009 @ 7:42 pm

  60. Well I do like the Ghostfacers, but at times they can be a little… annoying. However, I do like some of the comedic relief they add to the show and I’m kind of excited to see how they are worked into this Thursday’s episode. (Which I might add looks hilarious!) :)

  62. I’d like to echo the sentiments that a lot of people have said… They’re good when they’re needed. And I love that Supernatural has that balance of dramatic, and scary, and funny. Because after really emotionally draining episodes (like “On the Head of a Pin”) it is relieving (to me at least) to be able to relax, and be able to laugh. That being said, as much as I absolutely adore AJ Buckley, I don’t necessarily want them to be a “staple” of the show either. I like the way Kripke brings them in sporadically and it usually works with the story. Also if they became more regular on the show, that would force AJ to take more time out of his work on CSI:NY and I just won’t tolerate that… I think that they’re a great addition to the show, as long as they are not overused.

  63. Sorry for those of you who feel spoiled by this post, the Ghostfacers were prominetly mentioned in the promo videos for those videos and in the comments, so I didn’t realize it would be spoiler-y for folks.

  64. Apologies to their fans, but I cringe whenever I see the Ghostfacers. Hell House was enough for me - they were sort of funny in places - although Ed’s “fear” of the Tulpa was a bit flat, but the Ghostfacers episode…..I’m afraid that I fast forward to the Winchesters’ bits and skip the rest. I find them more than annoying - I just can’t watch.

Sorry, Kris - have to disagree with you, hon!

  66. I heart the Ghost Facers! I’m a big fan of quirky comedy as it is and those guys fit pretty well into that category. They also give some much needed comedic relief after some seriously intense epis. Bring em on!

  67. A pop in now and again from the Ghostfacers is ok with me…but don’t need to see them on a regular basis.

  68. I love the Ghostfacers. Ed and Harry are hilarious. The episodes they appear in are two of my all-time favorite episodes. I think if Supernatural were to ever have a spin-off, they would be perfect. I know I would watch.

  70. Concisely, they are no big deal and most of the time downright annoying..

  71. Love the Ghostfacers, they are soooooo funny, AJ Buckley is an absolute legend!!!!

  72. I definitely love the Ghostfacers.
My main point is, each time they appear, the episode is really funky. If SPN were always 100% about tears and seriousness, it would lose all credibility. That would suck.

SO! Comedy characters do have their usefulness :D
And I mean, who wouldn’t laugh with the Ghostfacers? Their first appearance was kind of funny, but their second appearance, where the whole episode is about them, is just HUGE. It’s nice to have a different point of view about Sam&Dean, too. The Ghostfacers are young, they are losers, they just rock. They would suck only if they were recurring guests. Since they aren’t, they’re perfect to calm everyone down for a bit, especially after such a big episode (awful Dean revelations and so on).
Y’know, remember that irl, there are normal people going on with everyday life, and idiots too. Life can’t be only big cars and jackets and rock’n'roll. Even if that would be cool.

  73. I love the Ghostfacers. I think they’re funny. I liked the idea of the Ghostfacers show. I thought that episode was funny. They are a great comic relief for the show.
It’s interesting to see what Sam and Dean think of them too.
I can’t wait for the next episode to see them, and see what they’re going to do next.

  74. I LOVE THEM!!! I mean its great just every once in awhile to have some fun and good comedy instead of the same drama, edge of your seat stuff that Sam and Dean go through so yes I LOVE THEM!!! I hope they come back soon.

  75. i like them, there great and funny. yes they can be reaally annoying, but they help lighten the mood of the season. i’m really tired of seeing dean cry cuz everytime he does, i do. i look forward to thurday’s episode. i don’t think dean will be crying, and i think we’ll see a little bit of the badass dean we know and love.

  76. i love them becuase in the end sam and dean save their ass… they make the episode more comical its best to have them for one episode i think..it would be cool if dean and sam tell them everything that is happening just to freak the ghostfacers out lol idk

  77. I’m a fan. They’re fun, and it’s fun to see Sam and Dean react to working with “amateurs.” They’re arrogance and pseudo-confidence makes me laugh every time. Definitely a great addition to the show.

  78. I love them! I love the distraction for a while and I wanna see more cool footage from them after what they’d done in last Ghostfacers episode..:D if they weren’t here SPN will be broody whole this season…:D

I wonder what will happen if they meet Castiel too..XD

  79. Hey, didn’t Eric Kripke do the same thing before?
I mean like on the X-FILES show. What were they called, the ‘three horsemen or something like that?
Anyways, this might be the same concept, providing the
ultra comic relief to the show.
Sometimes though,it gets to the point of wanting to smack the two ametures silly.

  80. I hate them! I wish they would just go away and leave us alone. They were okay the first time, but not since then. Blech!

  81. I hate them. They’re extremely annoying and boring. In the first episode they were in, Hell House, I thought they were okay. The Ghostfacers episode in season three though – it plain out sucked. I thought it was the worst episode of Supernatural ever and I just wished for it to end already. So boring. I’d been looking forward to watch a new episode of Supernatural, and then I get a whole new crew of characters instead of the usual ones. It was just to far away from the focus of Sam & Dean and what the show is really about. I like it when they make funny episodes, but not with these pathetic losers in it. Because they’re not funny and they don’t bring anything to the show. I don’t think they bring the storyline forward.

  82. Love ‘em! Love Sam and Dean more, of course, but the Ghostfacers get a thumbs up!
