As some of you already know, there's going to be a Supernatural/Smallville convention in the UK next year titled 'Asylum'. For those of you who don't, here's a little more info straight from the organizers!

Asylum will take place over the weekend of 11th May - 13th May 2007 at the Menzies Leofric Hotel in Coventry. Our first announced guest is Jared Padalecki, appearing subject to work commitments; with more guests to be announced. Tickets will be on sale from the 31st July 2006 and hotel rooms will be available from the same time.

Good grief! Jared Padalecki virtually in my own back yard and I didn't even know lol! Yup, Jared has been busy touting the show here in the good ol' UK, and here's what the 'National Ledger' has to say about it:

"Supernatural" hottie Jared Padalecki hasn't had much of a break from his paranormal duties this hiatus. The haunting series about two brothers (Padalecki and Jensen Ackles) locked in an ongoing battle with the dark side that was picked up for a second season is such a global hit, Padalecki and the "Supernatural" troupe have been overseas tub-thumping with the international press. Currently in London, Padalecki will have to head right back to Vancouver,B.C., to start shooting the show the beginning of next month. "Supernatural" is scheduled to follow "Smallville" on the new CW Network's Thursday night lineup.

Yikes, and I didn't know! Meanwhile, according to an article at TV Shows on DVD the boxset will have all of the original music PLUS over 2 hours of special features. Hmmn, all the original music. Sounds good to me. ;)

Meanwhile, remember Jared talking about the time Tom Welling joined them onset, unofficially? Well, now it's Tom's time to talk over at E-Online! Here's what he has to say:

"Supernatural and Smallville actually shoot a block away from each other, and I'm really good friends with Jensen and Jared. Last season, at one point, I actually got off a little bit earlier than they did, and I went down to their set. They weren't there yet, and I knew some of the people on set, because they had worked on Smallville, so I jumped in the backseat of their car, and if you've seen the show, you know they're always driving their car and they're pullin' in to places and getting out of their car. So, I get in the backseat, and they were in a big hurry because they were late getting to set--very unprofessional--and they jumped in the car very quickly 'cause the crew was yelling 'We're already rolling, go, go, go.' And just as they jumped in, I reached over, and I grabbed Jensen, and I pulled him into the backseat, and he didn't know what was going on. He thought it was his stunt double, so he started hittin' me, so I started hittin' him back. And then when he realized who was who, they said 'Action,' so he jumps in the front seat, we tear down this alley, he pulls into this bar and all three of us jumped out, and we all walked into this bar, and as we walked in, the door closed and we heard 'Um...cut?' They didn't know what was goin' on. So, I made an appearance on Supernatural. I believe I was edited out."

So want this on the gag reel!

The Futon Critic is now listing 'projected' return dates for fall shows. They have 'Supernatural' and 'Smallville' both listed for Sept 21st, although this could change...

Hi,

I'm finally back from my trip to the coast, and hopefully you folks haven't missed too much in my absence. First, I'll do a little round up of what's been going on...

There are lots of new video clips out there on the net, including the new E-Online clip from the CW Upfronts, Jared's Teen People photo shoot, the CW promos, and many more. And you know what? Our affiliate A.B.O. has them all for your viewing pleasure as well as many other new clips of our boys. Click here to head on over and check them out!

Meanwhile, as I'm sure you've heard, it looks like Daddy Winchester (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) will be getting a new show from 'Grey's' creator Shonda Rhimes. Will he remain in both shows? Only time will tell. To read two articles that mention Jeffrey click here and here.

Finally, if you like something a little different, or you're just a 'Supernatural' fan fiction nut, then stay tuned over the next few days, because within the week I'll be posting news about not one, but two 'Supernatural' Virtual Seasons!
