Full Synopsis

A woman is taking a shower. As she washes her hair, we suddenly see the shape of a person moving outside the shower door. There is a pale-looking person watching her. She turns off the shower and turns around, and the person disappears. She gets out of the shower and wraps herself in a towel, then wraps her hair up. Behind her, an invisible hand wipes clean the shower door. Wet footprints appear on the floor, heading towards her. Suddenly she turns around. ?Hello?? she says. ?Is anybody there?? Nobody answers, so she turns back around and then takes the towel off her head. She throws it towards the rack, but instead it lands on something insivible ? someone?s invisible head. She turns around, staring. ?Ummm,? says the invisible someone, ?Hello, Mrs. Armstrong.? She screams.

Restaurant
Dean is drinking shots. ?It just doesn?t make any sense, Dean,? Sam says. The boys are sitting at a table, eating. ?I mean why would Uriel tell me you remembered Hell, if you didn?t?? ?Maybe ?cause he?s a dick? might have something to do with it,? Dean replies. ?Maybe, but he?s still an angel,? Sam says firmly. ?Yeah, an angel who was ready to level an entire town,? Dean argues. ?Look, I don?t know what?? He stops as the waiter comes up. ?Radical!? he says cheerfully. ?What else can I get you guys?? ?Uh, no I think we?re good,? Sam says. ?Yeah?? says the waiter. He suggests somemore things they may want to try. ?No, no, we?re still good,? Dean replies. ?Okay, awesome,? the waiter grins, and leaves. Dean raises his eyebrows at Sam. ?Sam, honestly, I have no idea why Uriel told you what he did, okay?? he says. He drinks another shot. Sam is silent for a moment, and then says ?Right.? ?What?? Dean says. ?Alright, then look me in the eye and tell me you don?t remember a thing from your time down under,? Sam says firmly. Dean looks him in the eye. ?I don?t remember a thing from my time down under. I don?t remember, Sam!? ?Look, Dean, I just wanna help,? Sam says. ?You know everything I do, okay? That?s all there is,? Dean says, then stops talking again as the waiter walks up again. ?Outstanding! Dessert time? Huh? Am I right? Listen bro. You have got to try our ice cream extreme. It?s extreme!? ?Yeah, no extremes please, just the?? Sam tries. ?Check? Alright, awesome.? The waiter puts it down and leaves. ?Alright so where do we go from here?? Dean asks. ?I?m not sure. Looks like it?s been pretty quiet lately, no signs of demon activity?? He says all there is the usual crank UFO sightings and one possible vengeful spirit. ?Up in Concrete, Washington, eye witness reports of a ghost who?s been haunting the showers of a women?s health facility,? Sam says. Dean nearly chokes on his beer. ?The victim claims that the ghost threw her down a flight of stairs,? Sam goes on. He watches as Dean closes the laptop without looking. ?I can see you?re very interested.? Dean pulls out some money and puts it down. ?Women? Showers? We?ve gotta save these people.?

Concrete, Washington
The boys pull up outside a Chinese food place, and Dean lets Sam out of the car and drives off.

Inside, Sam is sitting at a table with the woman from the shower. ?I?m not surprised the spirit chose to make contact with me,? she says. ?I?m something of a? natural sensitive.? ?I can sense that about you, Candice, that whole? sensitive thing,? Sam replies, nodding. ?So what did you say you were calling your book?? she asks. ?Oh, um, well the working title is? ?Supernatural?. Yeah I?ve been crossing the country, gathering stories like yours, but anyway ? so you were telling me about your encounter,? Sam says. ?Oh yes, well once I saw the apparition, that?s when I started to run.? She pauses, noticing that Sam is watching a couple on the other side of the restaurant. There?s a geeky looking guy and a pretty girl, and they?re kissing. Sam looks away slowly, looking confused. ?And you said the ghost chased you?? ?Not just that. It knew my name!? she says. ?It kept yelling ?Mrs. Armstrong! Mrs. Armstrong?! And that?s when I hit the stairs and fell.? Sam looks surprised. ?You fell? It didn?t push you?? ?Oh, uh, I dunno. I mean, I think it did,? she says. ?Maybe.? ?Did you feel like it meant to hurt you, like it was violent??? Sam suggests. ?It was a ghost!? she says. ?I?m lucky to be alive. Anyway, I was at the bottom of the stairs, and that?s when it got weird. It helped me up.? ?Say again?? Sam says, staring. ?Yeah ? it helped me up! And it kept saying over and over ?Please, don?t tell my mom.?? Sam stares for a moment. ?Yeah that?s weird.?

Sam heads over to where Dean is sitting on the steps of the women?s health facility. Dean is looking at a paper, where the headline is ?Local man wins 168 million dollar lottery?. He looks up as Sam approaches. ?Well?? Sam says. ?Pick up anything?? ?No EMF in the shower or anywhere else,? Dean says, standing up. ?This house is clean.? ?Yeah, not surprised,? Sam says. ?I kinda got the feeling back there that ?crazy? pushed that woman down the stairs.? ?I gotta tell you, I?m pretty disappointed,? Dean admits. Sam snorts. ?You wanted to save naked women.? ?Damn right I wanted to save some naked women!? Dean replies. Sam laughs.

As the boys walk, they see a small boy being chased by a bunch of bigger kids down the dock. ?Run, Forrest, run!? Dean yells. ?Sorry Dean, but I don?t think anything?s going on around here,? Sam says. Dean stops him, looking towards a couple of men standing nearby. One is a s policeman, and the other one is a civilian, who is yelling about something. ?Something?s going on,? Dean says.

?I understand you got shook up, anyone would be,? the policeman is saying. ?But don?t you think? don?t you think it had to be a bear?? ?I know a damn bear track when I see one! This thing didn?t leave bear tracks, it?s feet were huge!? the man yells. ?It was Bigfoot, Hal, the Bigfoot!? ?Gus, you?re not talking sense here,? Hal says. ?There?s Bigfoot out there, dammit, and he?s a son of a bitch!? Gus goes on yelling. ?Excuse us,? Sam says loudly as the boys approach. ?FBI.? The boys flash their badges. ?What?? Hal says. ?Yes sir,? Sam says. ?You?re here about Bigfoot?? Hal says incredulously. ?That?s right,? Sam says. ?Sir can you tell me exactly where this happened?? ?Yes I can,? Gus replies.

?What the hell is going on in this town?? Dean says as the boys walk down a forest trail. ?First there?s a ghost that?s not real and now a Bigfoot sighting?? ?Well every hunter worth his salt knows Bigfoot?s a hoax,? Sam replies. ?Maybe someone?s pumping LSD into the town water supply,? Dean suggests. The boys stop talking as they reach the ?Bigfoot? tracks. They are huge. ?Okay,? Dean says as they stare. ?What do you suppose made that?? ?That is? uh? a big foot,? Sam says.

The boys come upon an old railway station, and keep walking. Outside a small liquor store are big, dirty footprints, they lead inside. ?Okay,? Dean says, looking at Sam. Sam shrugs.

Inside, the boys find a mess. ?So what, Bigfoot breaks into a liquor store jonesing for some pooch?? Dean says, noticing the broken bottles on the floor. ?Amaretto and Irish Cream. He?s a girl drink drunk.? Sam looks at the magazine rack as Dean continues to look around the liquor area. ?Hey, check this out,? he says. Dean walks over. ?He took the whole porno rack?? Sam reaches over and finds a big tuft of fur in the rack. ?Well I?ll say it again. What the hell is going on in this town?? Dean says.

The boys head outside the store and sit down in unison on a bench. Dean is blinking, and Sam is looking confused. ?I got nothing,? Dean says finally. ?It?s gotta be a joke, right? Some big-ass mother in a gorilla suit?? Sam says. ?Or it?s a Bigfoot,? Dean replies. ?You know, and he?s some kind of alcoholo-porno addict.? The boys watch as a little girl rides by on her bicycle. As she does, a magazine falls off the back of it. The boys head over and pick it up. ?A little young for Busty Asian Beauties,? Dean says.

The little girl sets down a big box of porno magazines and liquor on the steps. Inside is also a note that says ?Sorry?. Then she wheels her bike away. Dean and Sam watch her go.

They pull up outside the little girl?s house, which has her bike outside. They walk up and knock on the door. The little girl opens the door. ?Hello?? ?Hello,? says Sam. ?Could we ? you know what, are your parents home?? ?Nope,? she says. ?Have you seen a really, really? furry?? Dean begins, but she interrupts loudly ?Is he in trouble?? The boys gape at each other. ?No,? Sam says slowly. ?No no no, not at all, we just wanted to make sure he was okay.? ?Exactly,? Dean says, smiling. ?He?s my teddy bear,? she says, and then whispers ?I think he?s sick.? ?Wow. Uh, amazing,? Dean says. ?Cause you know what? We ? are teddy bear doctors.? They hold up their FBI badges. ?Really?? she says excitedly. ?Can you please take a look at him?? ?Sure,? says Dean. ?Sure, yeah,? Sam says, smiling awkwardly.

Inside, they follow her upstairs. ?He?s in my bedroom,? the little girl says. ?He?s pretty grumpy.? She knocks on the door. ?Teddy? There?s some nice doctors here to see you.? She opens the door slowly. Inside, a huge furry teddy bear is drinking alcohol. ?Close the friggin door!? it yells. The boys stare. She closes the door. ?See what I mean?? The boys stare at each other in silence.

?All I ever wanted was a teddy, which was big, real, and talked,? the little girl explains. ?But now he?s sad all the time! Not ouch-sad, like ouch-in-the-head sad. Says weird stuff, and smells like the bus!? ?Umm, little girl?? Dean begins. ?Audrey,? she corrects. ?Uh, Audrey? how exactly did your teddy become real?? ?I wished for it,? she says. ?You wished for it?? Sam repeats. ?At the wishing well,? she explains. Dean nods, and then opens the door again. ?Look at this!? wails the teddy. Dean looks. The bear is watching the news, which is talking about a large fire that occurred, killing a lot of people. ?Can you believe this crap?? ?Not really,? Dean says. ?It is a terrible world!? the bear goes on. ?Why am I here?? he turns quickly to look at Dean, and Dean jumps. ?For tea parties!? Audrey yells from outside. ?Tea parties?? the bear says incredulously. ?Is that all there is?? Dean slowly leaves the room. ?Audrey, give us a second, okay?? Sam says. The boys walk a little ways away.

?Are we? should we? uh?? Sam begins. ?Kill this teddy bear?? ?How?? Dean whispers. ?Huh? Shoot it? Burn it?? ?I don?t know,? Sam replies. ?Both?? ?How do we even know that?s gonna work? I mean I don?t want some giant flaming pissed off teddy on our hands,? Dean says. ?Yeah. Besides, I get the feeling that bear really isn?t the? core problem here,? Sam says. ?Audrey ? where are your parents?? ?My mum wished they were in Bali, so I think they?re in Bali,? she replies. ?Okay, well I?m really sorry to have to break this to you, but your bear is sick. Yeah, he?s got?? Sam is stumped. ?Lollipop disease,? Dean fills in. ?Lollipop disease,? Sam agrees. ?It?s not uncommon for a bear his size,? Dean goes on, ?But see it?s really contagious?? ?Yeah, so is there anyone, maybe a grown up you can stay with until we treat him?? Sam cuts in. ?Mrs. Hurley lives down the street,? Audrey replies. ?Perfect,? Dean says. ?Good, yeah good, we?d like you to stay there for a few days, okay?? Sam says. ?Oh and Audrey? Where is this wishing well?? Dean asks.

The little boy who was being chased by the bullies earlier tosses a coin into the well, closes his eyes for a moment, and leaves. Dean and Sam walk in, and approach the well, which is actually a fountain, in the Chinese restaurant. ?Think it works?? Dean asks. ?Well there?s one way to find out.? He picks a coin out of his pocket. ?What?re you gonna wish for?? Sam asks. ?Shhh!? Dean replies. ?Not supposed to tell.? He tosses it in. A man walks in behind them, holding up a sub sandwich. ?Somebody order a foot-long Italian with jalapeno,? he calls. ?That?d be me,? Dean says, looking at Sam. They both stare at the well.

Dean is happily eating his sandwich at a table in the restaurant. ?I think it works, dude! I was pretty specific.? ?The teddy bear, the sandwich?? Sam says. ?Mmm ? I?m guessing this,? Dean says, pulling the lottery article out of his pocket. ?I?m guessing that,? Sam says, nodding towards the geeky guy and his pretty girlfriend, who are again sitting nearby. She is feeding him food. ?That definitely goes on the list,? Dean says. ?What are we supposed to do, huh? Stop people?s wishes from coming true? I mean that sounds like kind of a douche-y thing to do.? ?Yeah maybe, but come on man, when does something like this ever come without a price tag?? Sam reminds him. ?And usually a deadly one.? ?I dunno,? Dean says. ?It?s a damn good sandwich.? He takes another bite and stares at Sam, who says nothing. ?Alright fine.? He puts down the sandwich. ?We put a hold on the wishes until we find out?? He?s interrupted as the owner of the restaurant comes over. ?Gentlemen, gentlemen. I?m sorry, but we don?t allow people to eat outside food here.? ?Well I?m certainly not going to eat the inside food here,? Dean replies immediately. He reaches into his jacket, pulls out a badge, then puts it back in, checking his other pocket. He finally finds the right one and holds it up. ?Health Department. Me and my friend. Big rat infestation. We have to shut this place down, under Emergency Hazard Code 56C.? ?Rats?? the owner cries. Dean nods.

Dean sweeps through the coins, inside the now dry fountain. ?Typical fountain. Plastic buddha. Nothing I can see.? ?Yes! Nothing! We keep a clean place here,? the owner says quickly. ?Sir, I?m gonna have to ask you leave, during the preliminary investigation,? Sam says. He leaves. ?Come on,? says Dean, pulling out a coin. ?Aren?t you a little bit tempted?? He tosses it to Sam. Sam laughs. ?Nah. Wouldn?t be real. Wouldn?t trust it.? He gives Dean the coin back. ?I dunno, that bear seemed pretty real,? Dean says. ?Yeah,? Sam says. ?I mean come on, if you could wish yourself back, before it all started,? Dean says. ?Think about it, you?d be some big yuppie lawyer, nice car? white picket fence.? Sam smiles. ?Not what I?d wish for.? ?Seriously?? Dean says. ?It?s too late to go back to our old lives, Dean,? Sam replies. ?I?m not that guy anymore.? Dean nods. ?Alright, what then? What would Sammy wish for?? ?Lillith?s head on a plate. Bloody,? Sam replies. Dean nods slowly. ?Okay.? He sniffs, looking down. ?What is that?? They kneel down beside the fountain, noticing a different coin amongst all the pennies. ?Some kinda old coin,? Sam says. ?I don?t recognize the markings.? Dean tries to pick it up, but it appears to be stuck. ?Damn,? he says. ?Lift with your legs,? Sam jokes. Dean still can?t get it off. ?What, is that little mother welded on there?? he says.

The store owner looks up as Sam and Dean walk in with a mallet and crowbar. He follows them as Dean puts the crowbar against the coin. ?Hey hey, what is this? You?re gonna break my fountain!? he says loudly. ?Sir, I don?t wanna slap you with a 44 slash 16, but I will,? Sam says firmly. Dean looks at him and Sam makes a face back. The owner leaves. ?Alright thanks,? Sam says after him. ?Lemme see that, I have an idea,? Dean says, taking the mallet from Sam. He props the crowbar against the coin, and then hits it with the mallet. The top of the mallet promptly breaks off and flies into the air. Dean stares at the broken handle in shock. ?Damn!? ?Coin?s magical,? Sam says. ?Well I?d say,? Dean replies. ?I think it?s hoodoo that?s protecting the well. I don?t think we can destroy this!? Sam quickly scratches the coin?s pattern onto a piece of paper and hands it to Dean. ?Alright, here, you gotta look into this.? ?What?re you doing?? Dean asks. ?Something just occurred to me,? Sam replies, leaving.

Women?s Health Facility
A woman wrapped in a towel is brushing her hair as wet footprints appear across the floor once again. This time though, Sam appears behind them and puts his hand out, and a naked boy appears. ?What?? he says. The woman stares. ?Don?t worry ma?am,? Sam says. ?I?m with the Health Department.? She grabs her stuff and leaves. ?So you can turn it on and off, huh?? Sam says to the kid. ?H-how did you know that I was?? the boy begins. ?You actually walked up to a wishing well, dropped a dime, and wished to be invisible so you could spy on women in the shower?? Sam says incredulously. ?I ? I ? I? no, no,? the kid says, grinning awkwardly. ?That?s crazy.? ?Put on some pants,? Sam says. ?And stay. Visible.? ?Uh, okay,? the kid says quietly. Sam points to the door.

Outside
Dean is walking when he sees the same little boy from earlier, but now he is chasing the bullies. The kid stops and looks at Dean. ?You got a problem, mister?? ?What? No,? Dean says quickly. Dean watches him go, and then starts walking again, only to suddenly put a hand to his stomach as it makes a strange rumbling sound.

Motel
Sam walks inside their room to hear retching noises from the bathroom. ?Dean?? he calls. More retching. ?You alright?? ?Wishes turn bad, Sam,? comes Dean?s hoarse reply. ?Wish turn very bad.? ?Sandwich, huh?? Sam says. Dean opens the door and leans on the doorway, drying his mouth with a towel. ?The coin is Babylonian. It?s cursed. I found some fragments of the legend?? He stops, retching a little, and goes back into the bathroom for a second, then comes back. ?I?m good. The serpent, is Tiamet. Which is the Babylonian God of primordial chaos.? He opens the fridge and grabs himself a drink. ?I guess their priests were working some serious black magic.? ?They made the coin?? Sam asks. ?Yeah, to sow the seeds of chaos,? Dean says. ?Whoever tosses the coin in a well and makes a wish, it turns on the well. Then it starts granting wishes to all comers.? ?But the wishes get twisted,? Sam guesses. ?You ask for a talking teddy?? ?You get a bipolar nutjob,? Dean finishes. ?And you get Ecoli,? Sam says. ?This thing has turned more than one town upside down over the centuries,? Dean says, opening his drink. ?It?s even wiped a few off the map. I mean one person gets their wish, it?s trouble. But everybody gets their wish?? ?It?s chaos,? Sam finishes. ?Any way to stop it?? ?Yeah, one way,? Dean says. ?We gotta find the first wisher. Whoever dropped the coin in and made the first wish, they?re the only one who can pull it back out, and reverse the wishes. So for now, we?ve got a couple of nutso dreams come true, but once the word gets out about the well? Things are just gonna get crazier and crazier.?

The teddy has written ?Life is meaningless. Signed, T. Bear?. It is sitting in a chair with a rifle in it?s mouth. It sobs as it pulls the trigger, and stuffing flies out of it?s head. The teddy screams as it realizes it?s still alive. ?WHYYY??

Motel
Sam is doing research as Dean is sleeping on his bed. But he?s not sleeping peacefully ? he?s twitching a little, and seeing flashes of red, hearing screams. ?No,? he whispers. ?Dean wake up,? orders Sam?s voice, and Dean flies awake. ?What? What I?m up,? he sits up, blinking. ?What?? ?Sleep well?? Sam asks. Dean rubs his eyes and picks up a little bottle of whiskey. ?Rested and ready,? he replies. ?Dean come on, do you think I can?t see it?? Sam says. Dean turns to look at him. ?See what?? ?The nightmares, the drinking? I?m with you twenty-four seven, I know something?s going on,? Sam replies. Dean tosses aside the bottle. ?Sam, please.? ?Uriel wasn?t lying, but you are,? Sam insists. ?You remember Hell, don?t you?? ?What do you want from me, huh?? Dean asks, looking exhausted. ?What?? ?The truth, Dean,? Sam says. ?I mean I?m your brother. I just wish you?d talk to me.? ?Careful what you wish for,? Dean says, smirking a little. ?Cute,? Sam says. ?Come on, can we stow the couple?s therapy, huh? We?re on a job, I wanna work,? Dean says when Sam keeps looking at him, waiting. ?Whaddya got?? Sam says nothing. ?Please?? Dean tries. Sam sighs. ?We got teddy bear, lottery guy, invisible pervert guy, they all must have wished sometime in the last two weeks. But who wished first, and how are we supposed to know who else wished for what, when,? Sam says. ?Well, it helps when they announce it in the paper,? Dean says with a smile, handing Sam the paper he was looking at. ?Goes back a month.? There?s a picture of the geeky guy and his girlfriend, under the ?Engagements? column. ?Wesley Mondale and Ms. Hope Lynn Casey have announced their surprise engagement,? Sam reads. ?Ahhh. True love,? Dean says. ?Best lead we got,? Sam says.

Wesley is sleeping in a chair when his fiancee walks in. ?Wes ? are you sleeping?? she?s carrying a big tray of food. ?Oh uh, no, I was just resting my eyes,? he replies, turning off the TV. ?I thought you might want a snack,? she says, smiling. She sets down the tray, it has a complete chicken and various other fancy things on it. ?Oh, whoa, you didn?t have to do that,? he says. ?I wanted to,? she says. ?Well, no? I had to. Because I love you more than anything, lover.? She grins. ?Yeah? Hope, sit down, okay?? he says. ?Yes, Wesley.? She sits down. ?Ummm. Hope, are you? happy?? Wesley says. ?I love you more than anything,? she says. ?I know. I know,? he says. ?And I love you. Very much. That?s why I want you start doing things that make ? that made ? you happy before.? ?Yes, Wes, I?ll try to be happier,? she says quickly. ?I?ll start right away.? ?No, that?s not what I mean,? he says. ?Oh Wes please,? she says suddenly, sounding like she?s going to start crying. ?Don?t be angry with me! I?d just die, I?d die!? She clasps his hands. ?No, no don?t, I?m not angry,? he says quickly. ?I?m not angry.? ?Then let me make it up to you, Wes,? she says. ?Let me make it right.? ?No, no, I?m?? he begins, and then the doorbell rings. ?I?ll get it,? she says, hopping up. She returns a moment later, saying ?Wes! You didn?t tell me you called the florist for the wedding!? Dean and Sam are behind her. ?Huh?? Wes says. ?You?re the best!? she says, kissing his head. ?I?m gonna go get my folders.? She leaves. ?Wesley,? Dean says. ?How?s it going?? ?It?s Wes?? he begins, starting to get up, and then sits back down. ?Aren?t you the guys from the Health Department?? ?Yeah,? says Sam. ?And florists, on the side.? ?Plus FBI,? Dean goes on, ?and on Thursdays, we?re teddy bear doctors. It doesn?t matter who we are. It matters what we know.? ?So, coin collector, huh Wes,? Sam says, noticing the framed collection on the wall. ?Oh uh yeah. My grandfather gave them to me,? he replies. ?Did you happen to lose one of those coins lately?? Dean asks. ?And by lose I mean drop into a wishing well at Lucky Chin?s and make a wish on it.? ?Nah, I don?t know what you?re uh? talking about,? Wesley says as Hope comes back into the room. ?Okay now, I have a lot of ideas?? she?s carrying a huge stack of folders. ?But you know, we don?t have all the money in the world, Wes is between jobs right now? means more time for me! You know I?m thinking a Japanese-y Kabbanah kind of thing.? ?Yes,? Dean says. ?I can see it.? Sam grins. ?So Hope ? tell us how you two lovebirds met.? ?Ah, best day of my life,? she grins. ?It?s the funniest thing! We both grew up here, but I never really knew who he was. Not by name, anyway. Till one day last month? it was like I just? saw him. For the first time he was just? glowing. Oh, just glowing.? She strokes his face. ?Uh, babe, can you get us some coffee?? Wes says quickly. ?Yes,? she says, but begins kissing him. ?Okay,? he says between kisses. Dean and Sam watch in shock. Finally he gets her off of him, and she leaves. ?Wes, we know. So tell us the truth,? Sam says.

Hope is standing in the kitchen at the coffee machine, and she can hear them as Wes tells them about the coin. He says his grandfather found it during World War II, and brought it back. ?He said it was a real wish-granting coin. But that nobody should ever use it. He was all I had, and when he died? I thought well, why not give the coin a shot?? ?Yeah well now you?re gonna wish it back,? Sam says. Hope looks shocked as she listens. ?Oh. Haha, no I?m not,? Wes says. ?If you don?t stop this, something bad is gonna happen,? Dean says. ?Something bad,? Sam says. ?Like us.? Wesley gives them a disbelieving look, until Dean carefully takes his gun out of his jacket. ?We really wish you?d come with us,? he says calmly.

On the road
Wesley is in the car with Dean and Sam, they are driving. ?I don?t get it,? Wes says. ?So my wish came true, why does that have to be a bad thing?? ?Because the wishes go South, Wes,? Sam replies. ?Your town is going insane.? ?I mean come on, you?re gonna sit there and tell me that your relationship with Hope is functional?? Dean says. ?That it?s what you wished for?? ?I wished she would love me more than anything,? Wes says, leaning forward. ?Yeah ? and how is that going? That seem healthy to you?? Sam says loudly and irritably. ?Well it?s a hell of a lot better than when she didn?t know I was alive,? he replies in an obvious tone. ?You?re not supposed to get what you want, man,? Dean says. ?Not like this. Nobody is. That?s what the coin does, it takes your heart?s desires and twists it back on you. You know the whole ?be careful what you wish for??? The car suddenly drives over something bumpy. ?We just hit something?? Sam asks. ?I didn?t see anything,? Dean replies.

Back in the road, the invisible boy stands up, reappearing, holding his back.

? ?Be careful what you wish for?,? Wesley says in a mocking tone. ?You know who says that? Good-looking jerks like you guys. The ones that got it so easy, because you happen to be handsome.? ?Easy?? Dean and Sam say in unison. ?Yeah, yeah. Women look at you,? Wesley goes on. ?Right? They notice you?? ?Believe us, we do not have it easy,? Sam says. ?We are miserable. We never get what we want. In fact we have to fight tooth and nail just to keep whatever it is we got,? Dean says. ?But you know what, maybe that?s the whole point, Wes,? Sam says. ?Yeah, people are people because they?re miserable bastards, cause they never get what they really want,? Dean says. ?Yeah, right. You get what you want, you get crazy,? Sam goes on. ?Take a look at Michael Jackson,? Dean says. ?Hmm? Or Hasselhoff.? ?You know what? Hope loves me now. Completely,? Wes says. ?And it?s awesome. Besides, look around. Where?s all this insanity you guys are talking about??

The bullies are screaming inside a SUV, locking the doors, as the little kid they were bullying earlier stands outside. He pushes the side of the car. The boys and Wesley pull up just in time to see the little boy lift up the side of the car, tipping it. ?Well that should cover it,? Dean says. The little boy tips the truck completely on it?s side, then yells ?Kneel before Todd! Kneel before Todd!? He starts shaking the truck. The kids inside are screaming. Dean jumps out of the Impala. He tells Sam to handle the coin while he takes care of Todd. ?Hey kid,? he says as Sam drives off. ?Can I talk to you for a second?? ?Get out of my way,? Todd says, coming towards Dean. ?Okay ? hey, I can dig it, Todd,? Dean says, holding up his hands. ?Look I know the score, they?re bullies?? ?Everyday, everyday, you do not know what it?s like!? Todd yells. ?No, no I don?t, but you?re you and I?m me, so?? ?Couldn?t stop them,? Todd says. ?Couldn?t do anything. Then Audrey Elmer told me the wishing well worked.? ?Okay, okay, I get it. They?re mean little jerks. Huh? But they?re not super-human. Like you. See, with great power, comes great?? Before Dean can finish, Todd punches him in the jaw, sending him flying backwards. He lands painfully amongst some trash cans.

Sam pulls up outside Lucky Chin?s, and they get out. ?That kid turned over that car like it was nothing,? Wes says, pointing. ?Shoulda seen the teddy bear,? Sam says. ?Now come on, fun?s over, time to pull the coin.? Wes looks down and doesn?t move. ?Wes,? Sam says warningly. ?Well why can?t we just get what we want?? he yells. ?Cause that?s life, Wes,? Sam replies. Suddenly a cloud appears in the middle of the blue sky and lightning zaps Sam, he falls to the ground. Wes stares in shock, and then runs into the restaurant.

Inside, he sees Hope standing in front of the wishing well. She turns. ?I had to do it, didn?t I? He was gonna make you wish away our love.?

Dean slowly pulls himself out of the trash cans and garbage bags, wincing the whole way. He gets up, looking angry, and starts forward. ?Hey kid!? Todd turns around and comes back. ?I didn?t wanna have to do this,? Dean begins. He punches Todd in the face, but he barely moves. Dean falls to his knees, clutching his hand in pain. Todd grabs him by the neck.

?You wished a man dead?? Wes says, walking across to join Hope. ?I love you more than anything,? she says. ?Stop saying that, stop it!? he says desperately. ?But I do,? she says. ?More than anything. More than me ? more than life! Oh Wes ? don?t hate me!? He takes her face in his hands and kisses her, then hugs her, saying ?It?ll be okay. I?ll make it okay.? He lets go of her, then turns to the fountain and picks up the coin out of the water. Hope?s face suddenly changes.

The little boy lets go of Dean?s neck.

Sam wakes up.

Todd looks at his hands in shock as Dean gapes at him, then slowly stands up. ?Okay. Follow my lead and you won?t have a problem.? The bullies are just getting out of the car as Dean backs up into the next car saying ?Okay man, no more! No more, okay?? He looks at the bullies. ?I wouldn?t mess with this kid anymore if I were you.? He turns away, raises his eyebrows, and leaves . ?Stay back!? the bullies say when they see Todd. He smiles and walks away.

?Hope,? Wes says, looking at her. She looks at him. ?Do I know you?? She slowly walks away. Outside, she walks by Sam, who is standing up again. Wes follows her a minute later, looking sad. He looks shocked to see Sam, and then slowly walks up to him, hands him the coin, and leaves.

Dean is looking at the paper, which now says ?Winning Lottery Ticket A Fake?. He is sitting on the dock, and he sees Audrey and her parents walk by. Her parents have terrible sunburns, and Audrey is carrying her teddy, which is now small again and has the stuffing taped into the back of his head. She waves at him, just as Sam walks up. ?Well, the coin?s melted down,? he says. ?Shouldn?t cause any more problems.? ?Audrey?s parents are back from Bali. I guess the wishes are gone,? Dean says. ?And so are we.? He starts walking. ?Hang on a sec,? he says suddenly, stopping. Sam turns to face him. ?What?? Dean looks around a few moments. ?You were right,? he says finally. ?About what?? Sam asks. ?I shouldn?t have lied to you,? Dean goes on. ?I do remember everything that happened to me in the pit. Everything.? Sam stares a moment, then says ?So tell me about it.? Dean looks at him. ?No. I won?t lie anymore, but I?m not gonna talk about it.? ?Dean, look you can?t just shoulder this thing alone, you?ve gotta let me help,? Sam says. ?How?? Dean asks. ?You really think that a little heart-to-heart, a little sharing and caring is gonna change anything? Huh? Somehow? heal me? I?m not talking about a bad day here.? ?I know that,? Sam says. ?The things that I saw?? Dean begins, ?There aren?t words. There is no forgetting. There?s no making it better. Because it is right here?? He points to his head. ?Forever.? He shrugs. ?You wouldn?t understand. And I can never make you understand. So I am sorry.? Sam doesn?t know what to say. So Dean slowly walks away, and Sam follows him.
