Alright everyone, first, I just want to apologize for being so tardy with this recap and review. But, I don't know what to say except that this episode was definately my favorite episode thus far. It had everything, and I mean everything from plot, to setting, to action.

I guess I will start off first with plot. As you may or may not know, the Winchester's return to Lawrence to go back to there old house. That in itself got me already intrigued in the episode. Doesn't get much better than that. Now throughout the whole episode it kept throwing little shout-outs to some storylines. The most awaited one were the Mary and John plots. I found the ending to be a shocker because we not only got to see one parent, but both of them. I was actually surprised to see John more than Mary, obviously because Mary died in the house so it was a little expected to see her. Missouri did a great job of keeping John a secret, because she felt that Sam would sense he was there, so she kinda "tested" Sam.

Which brings me to another point, Sam's powers. Finally, Sam has a one up on Dean. Dean is normally always the hero, but at least now Sam can do something Dean is unable too. Which is good because Sam does get characterization, but he never gets to be the hero, I mean he was saved in the episode by Dean again, but I suppose that was because Sam was being choked.

Now, I also mentioned setting too, only because its back at the house that started it all, which has a lot of significance especially to all the fans. Now at first I was confused about how the house was rebuilt exactly like the old one. But then if you looked at how the house was when it was burning down (click here) you will realize it wasn't a big fire and only happened in that room.

Action and comedy in this episode was just terrific. There were some great scenes with the spirit when they were trying to do that process so they could purify the house, and they were getting attacked. Also, when Sam was in the house by himself and was getting attacked. Missouri I felt was an excellent addition to the episode. The comedy all revolved around her and how she was like the annoying nanny for Dean. Also, how she always read his mind and yelled at him.

So, if you happened to miss this episode I definately suggest catching it. This episode was awesome and an episode we have been asking for. This episode got a perfect score with me, nothing seemed to bug me in it at all- it was just great.

Next Weeks Speculation: This one looks like a scary one! So it appears as if they go into a crazy house, and then they go crazy? Well lets see how it is, and next week Kittsbud will post the recap and review for Asylum!
